CASE STUDY:
Making a Splash on Instagram

For more than 50 years, Cressey Development Group has been a proud leader in innovative design and livable efficiency, building thoughtfully designed homes that emphasize form, function, and beauty. More than just a development company, the award-winning development group creates landmark homes that shape thriving communities, delivering confidence in value and design.

The project:

Cressey launched five distinct projects within a few months, each showcasing unique attributes:

  • Chelsea: A collection of 79 flats and townhomes just steps away from Queen Elizabeth Park.

  • Format: 2 and 3 bedroom East Vancouver townhomes featuring interiors by Ste Marie.

  • Caban: A beachfront mixed-use building on Okanagan Lake.

  • Hensley: A thirty-three storey tower in West Coquitlam.

  • Mason: Three-bedroom townhomes in North Vancouver.

The objective:

The main objective was to promote each of these actively selling projects on Instagram, ensuring that each received its individual spotlight without overshadowing the others.

The strategy:

We devised an innovative Instagram strategy using creative puzzle grid takeovers. Each project was introduced through a puzzle grid, creating a cohesive and visually appealing larger image on the profile grid. This method allowed for seamless transitions between projects while captivating the audience with its unique and engaging presentation. It provided ample coverage for each project with multiple consecutive posts, keeping the feed organized and avoiding confusion by grouping all posts about one project together.

The results:

The Instagram campaign was a resounding success, achieving a significant increase in engagement, with likes, comments, and shares surpassing previous campaigns. Each project received ample visibility, and the visually appealing Instagram feed reinforced Cressey's brand image of thoughtful design and meticulous execution.
